Why I Belong In Cali
CNN Poll Shows 95% Of Californians Support Marijuana Legalization
I have never been to California but I want to go, even moreso after seeing the results of this poll. If marijuana is legalized there, I will be on the first plane to LA or the bay.

I was born in Cali but for reasons beyond my control I am in Tucson fricin Arizona for about the next year. It sucks.
In California, I spent my life around pot. When I was a kid, my dad, his brothers and friends indulged. It wasn't a big deal. When I got older, I remember the first time I tried it…I loved it and never turned back. I actually did try a speed and acid one time but hated them. I've always said, I smoke pot but, I don't do drugs. I quit later in life for several years when I had kids and for other reasons.
I am a traumatic brain injury survivor, after I was in a motorcycle accident. I started smoking again after finding my son with it. It has helped with several of the residual effects from my injury.
Now that I'm in AZ for a while, I am doing without for now….mainly because I don't know any good "connections." Like so many others in California it's just not bad thing. We the people know and have known for a long time. Our government is who we gotta turn around.
Hey maybe that is why Cali has gotten so crowded over the years, even more over the last 10 or so. A crap-load of people want to be left alone and make their own decision about what's best for them.
Oh one more thing I meant to point out. I'm sick of hearing about the gateway drug thing. Like I said before I tried other things and hated them. A lot of people are the same and when they smoke pot most don't do drugs also. The people who they talk to in this piece are uninformed, idiots. THERE HAS BEEN TONS OF RESEARCH! Research for medical reasons, and many others including the natural resource that hemp is.
AND I have smoke with all three of my sons as they were late teens and now adults. They are 3 of the most talented, caring and smart guys I know. I didn't smoke with them when they were little just like I didn't have a beer with them. But when they got to be young men…Everyone else can just but the hell out of my business.
I'm old enough not to have a baby-sitter!
