We’ve Found the Rays Secret Weapon… The Cowbell Kid
As the Rays continue rolling with the current lead in the American League East, people keep asking, how does a team go from 66 wins one year to being one of the top teams in the league (the Kansas City Royals have been asking that for years). Well I wasn’t really sure what it was at first until today…. (queue the suspensful music).
It’s some crazy fan they call the Cowbell Kid and what this guy does is riles up all the fans around the team. It’s taken him a while to work his magic but now he’s got the team playing like contenders. The only thing that makes me very angry is he’s not actually a kid. I feel duped.
The video above is of him taking on Red Sox Nation and showing them how the Rays feel about them. The second video gives a more in depth and personal view into to life of this loser.
