The Times Are Changing

Today there was a lot of big news in Marijuana Laws today that you guys should definitely know about.
First of all, shout outs to the small city of Breckenridge, CO for completely legalizing marijuana. A vote was held yesterday that passed overwhelmingly for the legalization of pot, not just for medicinal use either.
Early returns Tuesday night showed the proposal winning with 72 percent of the vote. The measure would allow adults over 21 to have up to 1 ounce of marijuana.
The measure is largely symbolic because pot possession remains a state crime for people without medical clearance. But supporters said they wanted to send a message to local law enforcement to stop busting small-time pot smokers.
Breckenridge also happens to be a ski resort, that means go there on your next vacation.
Next we look over to Maine, who had a policy vote on election day to drastically expand their medical marijuana laws. The vote was for regular voting citizens, so you know that it passed. People are finally beginning to wake up on this issue.
With 86 percent of the precincts reporting, the measure was ahead 58 percent to 41 percent, the Bangor Daily News reported Wednesday.
The measure eases access to marijuana for individuals with certain medical conditions by expanding the list of qualifying conditions, creates a state-regulated registry of qualified users and allows for a statewide system of storefront distribution centers.
These are definitely signs that times are changing and we are moving in the right direction. What do you guys think about these new laws?

Hey, I'm from Breck and it is so bomb to see us mentioned! Half the town is in an uproar over the decision, but shit – that's democracy, right?
Peace!
Thats awesome about that town, but its not legalisation, its descriminalisation. Its still a big deal, im not trying to play it down, its just misleading to use the term legalization.
