The NBA’s Amateur Dunk Contest Has Been Going Nicely
A few weeks ago I put you guys up on the amateur dunk contest that the NBA and LeBron James are sponsoring. Well it has gotten underway in a number of cities and things have been popping off nicely just like you’d expect.
Here are some of the highlights of the events thusfar.
Young Hollywood Wins L.A. Slam Dunk Showdown
Portland’s Slam Dunk Champion: D-Mo
Portland’s 2nd Place Dunker – Golden Child
There are still more of these events going down around the country. Check out the dates as I have them, I will keep you updated.
New York, NY: June 20-21 at South Street Seaport
Washington, DC: June 27-28 at Safeway National Capital Barbecue Battle
Dallas, TX: July 10-12 at Taste of Dallas
You can also submit your home videos to NBA’s Website of your dunks if you can’t make it to any of the events. Check the link to see more of the other amateur videos that have been done around the country.
