There is an area in Northern California between Mendacino county and The Bay Area that generates up to $1 billion dollars annually in illegal marijuana revenue. This area is called the Emerald Triangle. This is a place where thousands of growers of medical cannabis harvest their crops. Despite the state law (which was passed by a landslide vote) that legalizes pot for medicinal use; the growers, retailers, and patients have been constantly attacked by the DEA. This is because California’s state law conflicts with federal law prohibiting the manufacturing, distribution, and consumption of this so called “dangerous” drug.

There are hundreds of cannabis clubs in California that provide pharmaceuticals to thousands of patients each day. These clubs offer the patient many different ways to get high. These options include; a variety of baked edibles, ice cream, lemonade, capsules, sativas, indicas, hybrids, hash, hash oil, keif, and sometimes even an in house vaporizor. There is even a club that devotes itself to selling entirely purple.

In California it is very easy to obtain a cannabis card. All you really need is about $180 and a valid condition that is treatable with marijuana. Some conditions for example are insomnia, nausea, chronic pain, migraine headaches, and a lot others. Also with this card you are permitted to grow a certain number of plants for either personal consumption or to vend to the clubs.

Within the city that I live, Oakland, California there are multiple cannabis clubs. There is even an organization called OAKSTERDAM UNIVERSITY that actually offers classes on how to grow and harvest legal pot and even how to start your own cannabis club! So widely known and accepted in this community it is located on our main strip in downtown! So come to Northern Cali y’all! We gets it in!
