The Dumbest Anti-Pot Ad Ever
I am rarely at a loss for words. This anti-marijuana ad is insanely wrong, ignorant, and utterly stupid all at the same time. It is apparent that whoever wrote and designed this ad has never smoked marijuana. I doubt before this they even knew what it was. Condemning something, when all your evidence is based in ignorance is flat out wrong. You Are Lying To People. Simple as that. Is it the year 1692? Are we in Salem during the witch trials?
Just read what is written next to the “joints”. “Tried to e-mail Uranus“, “Made hat out of ground beef“, “Heard my hair grow“. What the hell are they talking about? Apparently, all the weed smoked in this ad has the potency of LSD or magic mushrooms. Those are ridiculous scenarios that have never even come close to happening. And what the fuck is up with those J’s and blunts in the ad? The top one is realistic, but the cigar looking one looks only half done! Finish that guy off! And the huge one is 100% nonsense/moronic. Is that blunt rolled with a newspaper? Or wrapping paper? And it looks like it was hit twice, then forgot about. Two hits of a blunt ain’t gonna give you auditory hallucinations.
And the kicker at the bottom of the ad is that you spent the night in jail for smoking weed, thus making it bad. Then of course the insulting line, “Marijuana. Harmless?” Guess how to make marijuana actually harmless? Stop throwing innocent responsible tax-paying adults in prison! The only downside of cannabis use are the laws, and once we wake the fuck up as a nation, marijuana finally will be harmless.
Plus, I like this version of the poster anyway.
