Some People Give All Weed Smokers A Bad Name
Marijuana Child Abuse Case Caught On Tape

When it comes to smoking weed, I am as liberal as the next guy. I believe in peoples right to choose whether or not they want to smoke. The government does not regulate what food we eat so why should they regulate drugs? And if they do regulate drugs, why are all of the prescription drugs legal when they have twice the side effects and are half as effective on lots of ailments as weed.
The world may never know for sure but one thing we can almost bet on is, if marijuana is legalized within our lifetime, there will be lots of people doing lots of stupid things. Hopefully they won’t be as bad or as boneheaded as an Oklahoma mother who got caught on camera allowing another adult to blow marijuana smoke in her seven year old boy’s face.
What?!?!?!
If that wasn’t bad enough, the boy is autistic and they got caught on camera.
Just because you’re high doesn’t give you the right to do extremely MORONIC things like this, but if you are going to do it, MAKE SURE THERE IS NO EVIDENCE. Idiot.
Prosecutors in Caddo County said the video shot last year showed a woman blowing marijuana smoke into the mouth of a seven-year-old boy, who has down syndrome.
Investigators said the mother, Caroline Beavers, sat watching nearby.
Workers at an electronics store notified police last April after finding the video on a computer that had been repossessed.
Beavers was arrested and charged with one felony count of enabling child abuse. She was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison.
Now, by no means am I condoning her behavior. It was extremely irresponsible for her and the other adult to do that. You would think that between TWO adults, one would have enough sense to realize it’s a bad idea to do that and an even worse idea to allow it to be videotaped. With that being said, the verdict to the case is bullshit.
10 years??
Ask any doctor what the long term effect of second hand weed smoke on your lungs would be and they would tell you that the damage is minimal and far lower than cigarette smoke, which lots of people blow in their kids faces everyday.
You are really going to take this parent away from their 7 year old autistic kid for 10 YEARS??? Really???
If you think her sentencing is just, think about this, the average sentencing for manslaughter is about 4.5 years. Can watch she did even compare to manslaughter??
