Richard Jefferson doesn’t miss Jason Kidd: “Kidd held us back”
According to Richard Jefferson, the Jason Kidd situation held the team back. The NY daily news reported today that RJ confirmed what everyone who followed the Nets already knew. Jason Kidd was very unhappy with his situation in New Jersey and he wanted out.
Jason Kidd didn’t make it public that he wanted to be traded until January and he still performed well, continuing to produce triple double after triple double but the situation deteriorated. Jason Kidd finally made it public that he wanted out when the team lost their 9th straight game. I would want out too.
Jason Kidd was actually granted his wish last month with his trade to the Mavericks but many people are questioning the deal. The team hasn’t beaten any teams with a winning record since and with the loss of Dirk Nowitzki, they might fuck around and not even make the playoffs in the West.
