Ray Allen hides sneakers for the world to find…sort of

A recent tweet on Ray Allen’s twitter has created excitement for sneakerheads in the Boston area as he has cleared out kicks from his MASSIVE closet and put them around Boston for people to find. Here is his tweet about it.
I just finished workin out and realized I have so many shoes that I don’t wear anymore so as I am driving thru Boston I decided I’m gonna leave a pair of shoes somewhere for whoever to have. When I find a good place I’ll tweet the address. The shoes aren’t signed either.
As some of you may not know Ray Allen has been under the Jordan Brand umbrella for most of his career and his PE’s (player exclusives) have been said to be the best of any Jordan Brand player. So if you’re in the Boston area hit his Twitter:
and find these gems.
PS: I’ll pay money for some of these so get at me!

[...] Its a Ray Allen sneaker scavenger hunt! [...]
[...] In the spirit of Geo Caching, where contestants find hidden loots via GPS coordinates. Boston Celtics‘ Ray Allen devised what might be the first “Twitter Caching for Sneakers”. To off load some of his sneaker collection, Allen apparently have hidden a number of sneakers in and around the Boston area. To locate them, simply check Ray Allen’s Twitter post, where the 13-year pro-ball veteran will upload photos on several locales. And if you do locate a pair, you get to keep them. The Twitter Caching for Free Sneakers will last for the duration of the year, so check back on Allen’s Twitter for updates. via: HailMaryJane [...]
