A NYC police detective says he was terminated from his job unfairly because of marijuana-spiked meatballs. His wife secretly substituted marijuana for oregano in meatballs, hoping a failed drug test would force her husband to leave police work. Apparently the plan was a complete success since the detective was fired after a failing a random drug test. However, the lawyer working for the police department said that there was more marijuana in the detective’s system than the meatballs could explain (the garlic bread, obviously).
