NFL Monday Night Wrap: Adrian Peterson with an average game, Vikings still beat Bears

Published by houroc under Football

12345.jpgIf you were looking for offense, last nights game wasn’t for you. It was played very sloppy on both sides but despite making a lot of mistakes, the Vikings were able to come away with the victory on Monday night.

In their comeback victory over the Bears, Tavaris Jackson threw 3 interceptions and left the game due to an injury. Adrian Peterson had 20 carries for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns, in spite of Brian Urlacher being all over the field.

One of the funniest plays was on Adrian Peterson’s second TD run, there was a little bit of a miscue in the handoff from Brooks Bollinger to Peterson. They crashed into each other but then when Peterson went to run, he saw Brian Urlacher right in the hole to the right so he made a quick cutback and went to the left. Sick.
