So this just goes to show you that just because you are a celeb or something, it doesn't mean that you should be calling games. Just ask Dirk Nowitzki.
Anyway, John Mayer was sitting behind home plate for some play by play analysis for the Red Sox/A's series in Tokyo. Now I guess this is better than his blog but even so I hope he was attempting to be funny because he completely massacred Dustin Pedroia's name and he used what will now be the quote of the day for me.... "And... THAT happened!!!"
