Apparently Isiah Thomas' firing may have had a harsher effect on him than we all thought. An emergency vehicle was sent to his home when "someone" was involved with a sleeping pill overdose and was brought to the hospital.
AP - Harrison Police Department Officer Vincent Lanzillotti says an ambulance responded to the 911 call early Friday. He declined to give any details, except to say a person was taken to White Plains Hospital Center, about 5 miles from Thomas' home.
Harris Emergency Medical Service declined to confirm the incident, citing medical privacy laws.
WCBS Radio reported the call involved "an issue with sleeping pills."
Barry Watkins, vice president of communications for Madison Square Garden, told The Journal News newspaper, "Isiah is fine."
They are declining any comments on who it was because of privacy laws but it was him.
Hang in there Isiah, suicide is NOT the answer.
