How do you get over a disappointing Super Bowl loss? Smoke some pot, just ask Willie Andrews
The Boston Herald reported today that the Patriots second year defensive back was charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute and driving an unregistered motor vehicle. So two days after the Patriots historical collapse in the playoffs, instead of having a ticker tape parade, they are trying to make an impression of the Cincinnati Bengals.
The police were tipped off to possible drug activity by some snitch and pulled Andrews over. According to police there was a “strong, pungent odor” that came from the car and they searched him. They found pot hidden in his groin area as well as two to three ounces more under a seat. Thats a lot of pot to lose. Sucks for him.
Andrews was released on bail and if he wants to leave the state, he will have to check in with a probation officer. This whole thing makes me wonder though, if the Patriots had won would the cops have let this one slide?
