You maked a good point. Not that we can actually be sure of that. But weed does help my insomnia…but in terms of depression it has different effects on everyone. I know it makes some people more depressed.

But it would be great it doctors and scientists can put more energy and time to study marijuana and its effects because it does have great benefits. Legalization needs to happen

thanks to everyone for being so open with the comments…

I don't know if I should have definitely said that he would have been alive but I think if it was legal, there wouldn't be the stigma of him quitting weed being "cleaning up his life" as the article put it. He probably wouldn't have felt guilty or pressured to quit and if he was on a regular dosage he could have treated his problem..

We will never really know though. RIP Heath Ledger…

Your right on, but logic doesn't seem to work on the people opposed to legalization. It pisses me off that the same people (mostly republicans) who are always bitching about "the government interfering in people's lives" are the same ones opposed to things like gay marriage and pot. Their mouths say they love freedom, but they support policies that are really fascist, if you think about it.

Change is slow, but I hope the country comes around soon. I'm getting sick of the stupidity. We have so many more important issues that need to be addressed and we are wasting time and money.

I def agree..i smoke weed and it seems to cure jus about anything from my days being depressed to as simpla as a stomach ache….And it def helps u sleep…If Weed was legal i think Heath Ledger would still be alive..but like the other guy said…some people do choose to do harder drugs and sometimes u cant controll that
