Gilbert Arenas opts out

Everyone saw this coming a mile a away. Yesterday Gilbert Arenas opted out of the final year of his contract with the Wizards.
The move had been long expected. Arenas has repeatedly said he would forgo the final year of his six-year, $65 million deal so that he could re-sign with the team for an even larger amount.
Arenas can begin negotiating with any team on July 1. While he has expressed a desire to remain with the Wizards, he has also said he won’t return unless the team also re-signs Antawn Jamison, who is also set to become a free agent.
I really don’t know who Gilbert Arenas thinks he is. He is looking for a long term deal. Something along the lines of 6 years, $120 million. I wouldn’t invest that kind of money in him though. He is not durable and he has been hurt most of the last two seasons. His knees are questionable. I would give him a 2-3 year contract at most and then see where we’re at from there.
He’s going to test the waters so we’ll see where he ends up.
