Even Joe Buck doesn’t like baseball anymore

It’s no secret that America’s interest in baseball has diminished a lot since the turn of the century. There are a lot of factors that go into this including the length of the games, the amount of games and of course the fact that all the best players out there either have used or have been accused of using steroids. People don’t know whether the games they are watching are legit or not.

That being said, I can’t understand this. In this video I found via Awful Announcing, everyone’s former favorite baseball announcer sounds off about how he doesn’t watch baseball anymore. Wait a minute. This guy is supposed to be an expert who gets paid to watch baseball and he would rather watch the Bachlorette than the sport he covers.

This is crazy. Even though ratings are down, I’m sure there are many real fans out there that would kill to have his job and would do the work and research needed to actually be good at it.

According to Deadspin’s Media Approval rating for Joe Buck… he got 77% disapproval from their readers. He definitely deserves for that figure to be higher, I want a recount!
