Donovan McNabb is Just as Surprised the Eagles Tied as We Are

Published by houroc under Football

So I’m sure this completely fucked up your NFL picks yesterday. I know I had the Eagles winning this game. I assumed that the urgency of being in the toughest division in the league and trying to secure a playoff spot would be enough motivation for the Eagles to beat the lowly Bengals but apparently neither team really wanted this game….

ESPN – Eagles 13, Bengals 13. It couldn’t have ended any other way.

McNabb fumbled and threw three interceptions in regulation Sunday, and the Bengals botched the only scoring chance in overtime, leaving the equally inept teams with the NFL’s first tied game in six years.

Not only did Donovan McNabb play really bad in this one but his plot to make the Eagles lose was foiled by the fact that NFL teams could tie games. He didn’t know about that though.

Thanks to Awful Announcing for the video.
