Chase Utley is sowry

I knew mic'ing up players what a bad idea, but no one wanted to believe me. During yesterday's home run derby competition they mic'd up Chase Utley and we all saw the outcome of that.

Chase was caught blurting out some naughty words to the fans at Yankee stadium who booed him when he was introduced.

Well today, Utley has apologized about the comment.

"It was a poor choice of words," he said. "I didn't mean anything by it. I was kind of joking around with my buddy over there, so I do want to apologize."

I guess that's an ok apology but he shoulda stood by his guns and when he was asked about it, he shoulda said it even louder.  Oh well.  I guess that's what you get when you get a bunch of white boys to do the derby.
