Brett Favre is riding out
According to Foxsports, Green Bay Packers great, Brett Favre is calling it a career. Barring any last minute changes of heart (which Brett Favre has been known to do), it will be a wrap for his 17 year career.
Favre will be leaving after one of his better seasons, passing for 4,155 yards, 28 touchdowns and breaking numerous records last season.
Favre leaves the game as the NFL’s all-time record holder in wins, passing yards, touchdowns, interceptions and consecutive games started by a quarterback. He also has three MVP awards to his credit.
We’ve witnessed one of the best to ever do it and if this really is it, thanks Brett for all the memories. Even though I have never been a Packers fan, I was always entertained by Favre and his love for the game and it’s sad to see him go.
