Larry Fitzgerald Accused of Domestic Abuse Against His Baby Mama

Domestic violence really pisses me off. The Cardinals also suck. So I find this story particularly strike a cord with me. Larry Fitzgerald allegedly beat his baby mama down.

TMZ - Larry Fitzgerald -- the star wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals -- has been ordered to stay away from his baby mama and his 11-month-old son after he allegedly knocked her around a room and pulled her hair out.

Angela Nazario claims she brought the couple's son to visit Larry at his Phoenix home last October when the former lovers began arguing.

Nazario alleges in her legal papers filed in Arizona, Fitzgerald attempted to "diffuse the situation" by raising his fist and challenging her to a play fight. Nazario admits she responded by swinging at him and "may have hit his face."

Fitzgerald then turned from playful to enraged, allegedly pushing Nazario down to her knees. She claims he "grabbed me by my hair with both hands on the back of my head very very hard and tossed me across the room."

Later, when she tried to leave with her son, Nazario says Fitzgerald "grabbed the back of my neck and slammed me down on the marble floor ... [I] was disoriented for awhile and could not get up, I remember he mumbled something about 'that's what happens when you try taking my son away from me.'" As she got in the car to leave she realized she had lost "chunks" of hair.

Now in all fairness, Larry is a superstar receiver making millions and this is an ex and also his baby mama. So already shes got him by the balls but that's no reason to beat her ass. Oh well, his team is going to lose this weekend so they will have the whole offseason to figure this out.

Charles Barkley Arrest in Arizona on Suspicion of DUI

Last night Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk. Damn, he couldn't even wait until tonight (New Years Eve) to start drinking?

ESPN - An officer with a law enforcement task force that targets drunken driving saw the former NBA star run a stop sign around 1:30 a.m., said Gilbert police Lt. Eric Shuhandler.

Barkley declined to submit to a breath test but was given a blood test. The results weren't immediately available.

After Barkley was processed, he was cited and released. He left in a cab, Shuhandler said.

That sucks. What's wrong with those cops? Charles Barkley led the Suns to their only NBA Finals appearance and they probably would've won it that year if they weren't playing a team that had a guy named Michael Jordan.

Yankees Sign Mark Teixeira to 8 year $180 Million Dollar Contract

ESPN - The New York Yankees swooped in Tuesday and hooked prized free agent Mark Teixeira, reaching agreement with the first baseman on an eight-year contract worth $180 million, three sources involved in the negotiations said.

The agreement, which is subject to a physical, includes a signing bonus of about $5 million paid out over the first three years of the contract, no opt-out clause and a complete no-trade provision, the sources said.

The Yankees are doing big things this offseason. I bet you they spend all this money in the offseason and then they don't even make the playoffs next season.

Lightning Strikes Really Close to Guy with a Camera

I don't understand why he was outside with a camera if the lightning is like this where he lives but he better have gotten back in the house after that lightning struck.

Plaxico Burress Is Sued Over Car Crash

Looks like our good old buddy Plaxico Burress is in trouble again. He's being sued by Alise Smith of Florida over a car accident he had with her. Of course this idiot didn't have insurance on his car.

NY Times - A Florida woman, Alise Smith, 27, has sued Giants receiver Plaxico Burress for a car crash last May in Tamarac, Fla. The lawsuit, filed on Dec. 9 in Broward County, said Burress’s car collided with the rear of her vehicle.

According to a document provided by Smith’s lawyer, the insurance on his nearly $140,000 Mercedes-Benz lapsed three days before the crash. A letter from Allstate says Burress neglected to pay his premiums.

Burress’s lawyer, Adam Swickle, declined to comment.

Referee Tackles Kenneth Darby

Ken Darby should be ashamed of himself. During the Rams game on Sunday he got taken down by a Referee.
