Spurs 71 – Lakers 101: It took a comeback in the first game for the Lakers to win in game 1, that wasn’t the case in game 2 though. The Lakers played as a team and really rocked the Spurs in this one, at the beginning of the season I never would’ve thought that I would’ve said that.
Kobe Bryant scored 22 points and Lamar Odom had 20 points and 12 rebound as the Lakers took over in the second quarter and never looked back.
The Lakers are now up 2-0 in the series which isn’t good news for the Spurs. Only 14 of 222 teams that have gone down 2-0 in a playoff series have come back to win the series. That includes the Spurs who just did it last series with the Hornets but this should be a hard matchup because they will have to win at the Staples center. The Lakers are on fire right now, they’ve won 13 straight games there.
Ok so the Kobe Bryant and Aston Martin video started this whole thing but now Kobe is hanging out with the cats from Jackass. Talk about hanging out with the wrong crowd.
In the end of the video Kobe pulls off another crazy stunt.

Pistons 103 – Celtics 97: So theres good news and bad news for the Celtics after game 2. The good news is Ray Allen seems to have gotten out of his shooting slump. He had 25 points in game 2 which was his highest output in about 3 months.
The bad news for the Celtics is after their 103-97 loss to the Pistons at home, the Pistons now have home court advantage. The Celtics have managed to make it this far without winning any road games but if they want to make it to the playoffs, they are going to have to win at least one game in Detroit.
Now this isn’t an impossible feat for the Celtics because they had the best road record in the league during the regular season including a win in Detroit but they will need to do that again and in the playoffs they are 0-6 on the road. They couldn’t even beat the Hawks in Atlanta.
It’s time for them to man up.

Everybody knows that when someone farts, the one who you immediately blame is the fat guy right? I know I do.
Well in this case it actually was the fat guy.
C.C. Sabathia is caught on tape confessing to farting in the dugout to Paul Byrd. Byrd does the wise things and immediately evacuates the area.

….and we’re here to witness it. Nice. He certainly likes the f-word and other four letter words… So do I.
With the Tigers season going the way it has though, can you blame him?
They were supposed to be one of the best teams in the league this year…. oops.

The NHL is trying to be like the NBA with cool commercials promoting their product. It has worked for the NBA, they’ve had their highest ratings these playoffs than they have in years so why not.
The NHL did a pretty good job though, I like this commercial.

Diamondbacks 1 – Marlins 3: Brandon Webb has been doing his thing this year, going 9-0 so far but don’t tell that to the Marlins. Last night they messed up Webb’s shot at a 10-0 start by beating him and the D-backs 3-1. Webb only allowed 3 runs on 6 hits but his team only score 1 run so that didn’t help.
Indians 2 – White Sox 7: Jermaine Dye lifted the White Sox to their 7-2 win over the Indians last night. Dye had 2 home runs in this one. One came in the sixth inning with 2 men on to put the White Sox ahead, then he added another solo shot in the seventh.
Cardinals 11 – Padres 3: As if the things weren’t bad enough for the Padres, they lost the game yesterday against the Cards as well as two more players at the hands of Albert Pujols. Ryan Ludwick and Troy Glaus each had 3 RBIs for the Cardinals to help the Cards to the 11-3 win.
Cubs 3 – Astros 5: Shawn Chacon finally got a decision in a game. It had been 9 straight games with a no decision to start the season for him but he finally got a decision in a game and it was a win at that. Not bad. Chacon pitched 7 good innings for the Astros as they beat the Cubs 5-3 at home.
Mets 4 – Braves 11: Despite the fact that they had a fan die at their game, the Braves still managed to continue rolling as they beat the Mets (again) 11-4.
This is one of the craziest sequences I’ve seen in sports.
First, Albert Pujols is up to bat and hits the ball off Chris Young’s face. It didn’t like look it felt good because blood started streaming down his face. That sucks.
Then I guess Pujols felt like he didn’t take out enough Padres so as we was sliding into home plate, his foot got tangled up with the Catcher Josh Bard and it caused his ankle to get sprained.
As if things weren’t going bad enough for the Padres, they just got worse.

Heres some highlights from the Spurs and Lakers game 1. These highlights really just feature Kobe Bryant though and little Pau Gasol on the side.

Justin Hayes of Cumming, GA was at the Braves and Mets game yesterday and fell off a stairwell 150 feet to his death.
There will be an autopsy to figure out the cause of death, like it isn’t obvious what it was.
According to Braves officials, Hayes may have been sliding down the stairs and slipped off.
This is not the first or the second fan to die at a baseball game this year.
Whats goin on right now? Baseball games are more dangerous than ever.
