During last nights game between the Pistons and the Celtics, The Celtics were down in the fourth quarter and the C's forward Kendrick Perkins made a decent play.  In an attempt to fire up the team he blurts out "Fuck these fools," with the cameras right there.  Too bad it didn't even work.

Laura Lane is an ESPN The Magazine online writer who recently wrote some quotes in from Kobe Bryants wife Vanessa Bryant.

Kobe's wife, Vanessa, has opted to make her own fashion statement. Vanessa, who is usually prim and proper in all black has decided to have fun tonight with her outfit. She's wearing a white tube dress, a purple tutu, black leggings, high heeled short boots and a rhinestone incrusted white leather jacket with the number 8 on the back, Kobe's old number. Bryant's daughters, Natalia and Gianna both have shirts that say "Got MVP?"

"When he changed his number I didn't have anything with a 24 on it so I had them make this dress," Vanessa says. "I don't know how to sew that well so I just told them what to do."

The girls, however, prefer their soccer uniform over ballerina tutus.

"I have stuff like this for them but they don't want to wear it," Vanessa says. "She's like, 'I don't want to wear it. It itches.'" Bryant's kids have recently started playing soccer in addition to gymnastics, ballet and hip-hop.

"I'm like a total soccer mom," Vanessa says.

Doesn't seem that bad too me. Well I guess Vanessa didn't know that those quotes were gonna go online and she didn't like it when she found out.. When She saw Laura at the game she made sure to let her know how she felt about it last night. It wasn't nice. This is from Laura's Blog:

Last night, I got cussed out by Vanessa Bryant. Seriously. At the Lakers game. In front of her kids. In front of the Lakers locker room. It was awesome. She is mad about an article I wrote where I mentioned her. That means one of two things - she either reads the ESPN blog or she has herself on Google alerts. Both are fantastic.

So as I’m walking out of the Lakers locker room after some post-game interviews with the players, I pass Vanessa, who is sitting outside the locker room as usual with her two girls.

“Laura!” she screams (yes, she apparently knows my name). “Fuck you! You fucking bitch!”

“Excuse me?” I say, completely baffled as I look around me to see if there is someone else named Laura. No, there’s not.

Her daughters – ages 5 and 2 – are sitting next to her on the bench looking at their mom as she screams.

“Fuck you! How dare you write about me and my daughters and their schedule! You didn’t say you were writing an article! Fuck you! You fucking bitch. You have no journalism ethics! Fuck you! You bitch - ”

I just stare at her. I’ve heard many stories about her from reporters, but this was unbelievable. Two of my friends from the LA Times told me how she cussed out one of them last season, because he said hi to her daughter. “Join the club, this means you’ve arrived,” said one reporter when word spread of my run-in with Vanessa. “She’s insane,” said another. “Everyone knows it.”

The nerve of Laura. Doing her job. What the hell was she thinking. I mean all Vanessa did was talk to a journalist. Why would she ever think that the journalist would then go and publish it. I mean it's her job. Thats just appalling.

Something tells me that if I ever run into Kobe's wife, she won't like me very much.

New York Mets Manager Willie Randolph has been through a lot this year. A lot people feel that he should be fired and they haven't been shy to say it, he's gotten into issues with the Mets tv station SNY, and his team is playing with no passion.

All of these things have people believing that when he goes to meet with the Mets owner Fred Wilpon tomorrow.

Willie is confident that he will keep his job though. When asked about whether keep his job he stated "I don't see why not."

At least he feels optimistic but if you look at the talent that the Mets have had over the last few years and the results they've had, someone has to be held accountable and unfortunately for Willie, the coach is always blamed no matter what sport it is.

He will likely be gone before the Mets face the Marlins tomorrow.

There were numerous crashes and mishaps in this years Indy 500. Scott Dixon managed to stay ahead of all of that and come away with the win in this years Indy 500.

Dixon beat out Vitor Meira, Marco Andretti, and Helio Castroneves for the win. It was close in the end but Dixon came out on top unscathed.

Danica Patrick wasn't so fortunate. She was clipped in the pit by Ryan Briscoe and got out and wanted to scrap with him. She was stopped though.

The Chicago Bulls lanky center Joakim Noah was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Sunday in Gainesville, FL. He must've been back to school and hooked up with some of his old connects. OOOOOHHHHH!! We know what he was up to after all those NCAA championships now.

Not a big surprise. Just look at him.

Summer Hallett, public information officer for the Gainesville Police Department, confirmed that Gainesville police stopped Noah, 23, about 1:50 a.m. Sunday for carrying a clear plastic cup with an "iced, amber-colored beverage" inside.

Hallett said, officers discovered a cannabis cigarette inside a cigarette package that Noah had in his pants pocket. Noah was issued a notice to appear in court for the two misdemeanors.

According to the police, they approached him because of their law that prohibits people from drinking open containers in public. They later found out that he was drinking cognac.

Yeah this is a hood nigga with his haze and cognac. LoL!

The charge of possession is a misdemeanor and it he could spend up to six months and a $500 fee. They may get him for the $500 but he won't do any time.

Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo is gaining a lot of notoriety lately is being called the best footballer in the world. He lead his team to a double, winning the Premier and Champions League which is a rare feat. Now he is going to try and help Portugal to a win in the Euro 2008 tournament but before he gets to that he's definitely gonna spend some quality time with his new girl (I know I would).

Nereida Gallardo is her name and damn shes hot. Ronaldo is lucky but fortunately for us she isn't afraid to show off her assets (NSFW).

Now before she got with our man Ronaldo, she was with a 40 year old football agent named Pedro Campane. Campane didn't mind tell the News of the World about his fun times with Gallardo.

"She didn't have any hang-ups. She liked doing everything in every position. Nereida doesn't know much about football but she knows lots about men—and how to please them. Cristiano must be having a mind-blowing time."

Now the hoetalucous Gallardo is with Ronaldo and he's definitely got some money in the bank. Now I ain't sayin she's a gold digga but.... well, you know the rest.

Omar Vizquel has been around for a minute. When he played this weekend he took the record for the most games played by a shortstop.

On Sunday, the 41-year-old established a new record when he played in his 2,584th contest, surpassing fellow Venezuelan Luis Aparicio for most MLB games ever played by a shortstop. Aparicio's record dates back to 1973.

"This is truly big and amazing," Vizquel said. "I'm proud of my accomplishment, considering that it was done against all odds. No one believed that I would play for so long, perhaps because I'm so short, or maybe because I didn't have a good throw, or simply because my offensive performance was not up to expectations. Today, however, we are here talking about records and history, which makes me feel truly proud of myself."

This is pretty impressive especially when you consider that guys like Cal Ripken Jr played SS and Vizquel is garbage when it comes to hitting. He was always an exceptional fielder though. He has won 11 gold gloves which is second only to the great Ozzie Smith. His career fielding percentage is .984 which is the best among all shortstops who have played at least 1000 games.

Congrats to Omar.

Charles Barkley always manages to offend someone.  Thats why we love him.

After the Spurs game 3 win last night, Barkley shared his views on San Antonio and Texas as a whole.  To sum it up, he feels that they are fatasses.

Now I love Chuck and all but he has no right to talk considering that three normal sized adults could fit in the suit he's wore last night.

LA Galaxy may have paid and arm and a leg to get David Beckham on their squad but it's times like this that make it worth it. During Saturdays matchup against the Kansas City Wizards, David Beckham rips a 70 Yard Goal that pretty much sealed the deal on the game. That helps the cause.
