Ok  so the movie fever pitch didn’t give an accurate look at what running across Fenway Park would really be like with their security.

So something tells me that Tony Parker isn’t all that disappointed with the Spurs playoff loss.

The loss means that you he gets to spend more time with his wife Eva Longoria. Not a bad consolation prize.

Brian Urlacher said that he would not be attending of the Bears mandatory mini camp.  Well he lied.

It was probably to avoid getting fined over $8000 for not attending but whatever the reason, he is caving for now but is still expected to pursue his new deal.

Lance Briggs is happy about it even though he supported Urlacher in his struggle for more money:

Fellow linebacker Lance Briggs was certain Urlacher would be absent come Friday. Briggs was prepared to wear Urlacher’s No. 54 jersey as a show of support.

“I’m surprised, but it’s a happy surprised,” Briggs said Thursday. “It’s good to have your big brother back.

“I don’t think this thing should have got to the point where it is right now. Brian needs to be taken care of, period. He’s irreplaceable.”

Lance Briggs is happy about it at least.  That makes one person.  The Bears need to go ahead and start paying people or else they won’t ever win again.

Detroit has two of the premier teams in their sports. Hockey and Basketball and with both of their teams still playing now in late May, the competition between them for TV ratings is under the spotlight.

Surprisingly, hockey won out. Now it is the Stanley Cup Finals compared to the Eastern conference championship so it isn’t exactly on the same level but even so.

Pittsburgh’s 3-2 win on Wednesday night earned a 2.8 national rating and an 18.2 rating in Detroit, beating out the 15.9 rating for the Pistons’ matchup with the Boston Celtics.

Game 5 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference finals drew a 5.3 national rating.

Game 3 was the highest rated Stanley Cup final game since 2002. Is Hockey on the comeback? Ehhhh… I doubt it.

Ok so Eli Manning has barely been married a month and already he is completely whipped. It didn’t take his wife long at all.
